is a cooperative version of a real estate agency.
Unrented retail spaces
in Budapest will open and get filled with life for one month. These
properties
will become visible, their potential will be revealed, and perhaps they will find long-term renters.
The Nyitva! (“Open!”) Festival, organized by
KÉK– Contemporary Architecture Center
tries to give an innovative, cooperation-based answer for the question regarding the dozens of empty stores around Budapest. Besides the owners and the businesses that move in, this festival is beneficial for a third party, too: Budapest.
