Baroque performance with authentic instruments and superstars of the old music at the last
#MidnightMusic
concert of the season. World-renowned singer
Carolyn Sampson
will also perform alongside the orchestra, in a matching costume and makeup. Classical music is cool, and judging by the
Midnight Music
series, the Budapest Festival Orchestra (BFZ) has proved that many times already.

It has by now become a tradition for the
Festival Orchestra
to select some of their concert pieces - after they have been played at “regular” concerts - and present them to young audiences at midnight performances. BFZ invites everyone who is open, loves art and special experiences and, of course, likes to go to bed late. These occasions are not ordinary ones, as they start really late, you buy tickets not for seats, but for beanbag chairs, and you don’t have to wear your Sunday best to attend. Along with the highest possible quality of music performance, the audience are given a short, professional, yet entertaining review before each piece, so that they are able to better understand and enjoy the music.
