Already last year it was a huge success, this year the
Wine Festival
organized for the so-called
Márton day
(in Hungary we celebrate name-days as well) will be even more interesting and colourful at the
Gellért Hotel
between Novermber 9-11. Now the event will last for 3 days, and besides of the high quality
wines
, there will be
concerts
and
presentations
as well, and it will also turn out which are more popular, the
goose
or the
mangalica
(traditional Hungarian pig) dishes among the people of the gourmet audience. For the first time, the Gellért Hotel has organized the festival last year.
The slogan of the year is "whether many goose beat the pig?" (A Hungarian proverb referring to e.g. the cooperation in order to achieve a great challenge), and the organizers literally will let the audience decide on the question, during a special Sunday lunch. Besides of the traditional goose-based dishes, the worthily famous mangalica will be presented in a great extent as well.
