Performing on guitar, keys and harmonica, with his long white hair in a ponytail,
John Mayall
, the godfather of the British
blues
scene is the white king of blues. Despite his 81 years of age, he takes to the stage to this very day, on 120 occasions per year on average. His characteristic
falsetto
has been ringing in our ears for the past 50 years. His band, the Bluesbreakers, has been active since 1962, releasing 45 albums during this period - their latest album came out in May, 2014 entitled "A Special Life” - not including the long list of appearances on compilations and live albums. His music is basically characterized by the Chicago-blues style, lately tinged with a hint of jazz.

John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers will be following up their sold out performance in 2014 at Akvárium Klub with their 13th concert in Hungary in 2015, where everyone will be graced with the chance of seeing the master live on stage in action.
