On 30 April, Vajdahunyad Castle hosts the next stop of the City Takeover series, bringing electronic music into a striking historical setting. This time, the spotlight is on Giolì & Assia, who arrive with their signature live electronic performance. Their shows go beyond a typical DJ set. Giolì performs on drums and a range of electronic instruments, while Assia delivers live vocals, creating a performance that feels closer to a concert than a club night. Tracks are built, layered and shaped in real time, making each set unique to the moment. The result is tight, rhythm-driven electronic music where vocals and live instrumentation play a central role, rather than serving as mere additions.
