Taking place at 7 pm on January 21, 2015, the next performance in the
Concerto Studio/Brahms
series at Concerto Budapest House of Music (IX. Páva u. 10-12.) will feature works by
Johannes Brahms and Arnold Schönberg
.

Brahms’ Piano quartet in C minor, which premiered in 1875, will be preceded by five Schönberg pieces. The Austrian musician started composing at the age of 9, and was a great admirer of Brahms, whose influence is very much apparent in Schönberg’s first piece that was played to an audience, String quartet in D major from 1897.
Gábor Csalog
will host the event, also providing accompaniment on piano.
