After her exhibition about Cuba, two years ago (
Tránsito Privado
), won scholarship from Mexico, and went out there for a year. Her current exhibition is about the year she spent there.
The pictures of Bihari Ágnes are always confronting.
She found her subjects everywhere in Mexico: rooftops, (empty) streets, pubs.
She faces them with a camera in her hands, and she makes
the subjects feeling like they doing something ''natural'', something thay they do every day.
Like it''s natural for them to look into the camera, like the camera is something that watches them every time - and they don''t think that it''s a problem.
If you watch the pictures, you could easily think, that Bihari Ágnes is just a girl from Mexico, but she isn''t, and that makes her pictures so special.
