If you think an ideal Saturday night is glamorous and special with a pinch of piquant madness, then it is time you began the countdown. On

Közgáz Gólyabál
).

Close your eyes for a minute and imagine walking on a red carpet through the door of the
Corvinus University
main building, all smiles and elegance, just like it says in the dress code. Stepping inside the hall, you are captivated by the concert vibe and you lose yourself in the colourful crowd for a few moments. Later you are sipping a glass of champagne as you walk through the corridors where every nook reveals a different surprise. Let’s add a bit of numerology on top of that: partying and a sensational atmosphere on four floors, six hand crafted venues with their own themes, twelve bars with a wide selection of drinks, and last but by no means least, four stages with sixteen memorable concerts.
This is not something out of your dreams. The Fővám Square building of Corvinus University will be transformed for one night to host the biggest and fanciest freshers’ ball in the country - this time with the patronage of none other than Antal Kovács, the Hungarian Olympic champion in judo.
The ball’s prestigious line-up, which would look good on any festival poster, features all genres from alternative music through
retro
all the way to
dubstep
. The quartet of
Brains, Irie Maffia, Mary PopKids and Halott Pénz
catches your eye immediately, but the fans of electronic music and the ‘90s have no reason to complain either. As a special feature of the night, MC SirReal (Freestylers) from the UK will hit the stage along with Cloud9+. To warm up, check out the Spotify playlist of the event.
Cloud9+
will not only play a smashing concert, but the
official anthem
of this year’s BCE Freshers’ Ball was also created by them. The video for the song was shot at the exact location you’ll let your hair down on that particular Saturday night.
