With soulful verve and skillful guitar work, Budapest-based singer-songwriter Neil Peters always presents a memorable show, and for this holiday-season hootenanny he's bringing together a good-time gang of diverse groovers to light up the night at Ellátó Kert, one of the city's last real-deal ruin pubs. As a 21st-century troubadour, Neil's jovial banter between sets is often as entertaining as his songs, which range from a transfixing repertoire of original tunes to favorites by influences like Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Stone Roses, and more. For this show on December 7th at 8pm, Neil shares the stage with a motley crew of musical co-conspirators, including his Vienna-based brother Mark Peters and some local semi-luminaries whose faces you may hazily recall from nights out and about in the Magyar metropolis - and as Neil's special Christmastime gift to the world, the concert is free.
