The 30th, jubilee edition of the Budapest Half Marathon is coming up in 2015.
What is the reason for this event being the
most popular
half marathon in Hungary (or possibly even Central Europe)? Is it because the route of the race passes by three World Heritage Sites? Or because the runners are cheered on by spectators and musicians from the side of the road? Or perhaps because the race takes place when most runners are in top form? Who knows?
