In 2015, the
Budapest International Documentary Festival
will be held for the second time. The first
BIDF
proved that it has the long-term ability and intention to improve the prestige of the country.
This year
BIDF
welcomes again plenty of creative
documentaries
and their directors (around 40 films) arriving from several countries across the globe, in order to participate in the international competition without any thematic restrictions.
Most of the films are premiering and/or only being screened at
BIDF
in Hungary, while the festival's money awards will be handed out by a prestigious jury (including the eminent representatives of the international and domestic documentary profession). The screenings will be followed by panel sessions, where visitors can meet and talk to the artists.
The screenings take place in
Uránia National Film Theater
, in the Great Hall and Small Hall on the 2. floor.
