Not so long ago Starbucks opened its seventh café in Hungary. For this reason, the well-know company asked local fashion designers to create special coffee tumblers for the Hungarian Starbucks cafés. Out of the several designs one became the winner, the design of Tamara Barnoff.

The newest café of Starbucks Hungary opened in one of the busiest spots of the city, at the corner of Deák Ferenc Square and Fashion Street. The popular shopping street inspired the company and it gave the whole idea to Starbucks to commission the fashion designers to create the special tumblers. Designers like Anh Tuan, Dániel Benus, k e p p Showroom, Dóra Mojzes, Nanushka, Miklós Pazicski (Enjey), Nóra Sármán, Kata Szegedi, Tamara Barnoff and Dóri Tomcsányi took part in the initiative. Fans had the chance to vote for the best tumblers on the official Facebook page of Starbucks Hungary and of course they could vote in the cafés as well. Tamara Barnoff got the most votes; her design was named the winner.

“This collaboration means a lot to me because Starbucks represents the thing that I find the most important, regarding my own work too: fine quality. My aim was to create a timeless design that matches the fantastic coffees.” – said Tamara Barnoff, the winner of the contest.

“It was a great joy and a real honour to work with the most prominent figures of Hungarian fashion” – said Orsolya Szabó, marketing specialist of Starbucks. “We will make sure to make such collaborations in the future as well to make the Starbucks experience even more special” – she added.

The winning designer tumblers by Tamara Barnoff are available now in Starbucks cafés.
