Újlipótváros, located north of the Grand Boulevard is part of Budapest's District XIII. It is a calm yet popular and swiftly growing neighborhood, noted for its bauhaus and Art-nouveau buildings. There are excellent classic- and new-wave cafés, vegan eateries and restaurants around, and if anywhere, here you really do not have to walk far for a cool hangout. We recommend the breakfasts ot Sarki Fűszeres, the cakes of Édesmindegy and Sovány Vigasz, the tiny cinema of Kino, the Eastern flavors of Khan and the crispy baguettes of Három Tarka Macska. One of the major theaters, Vígszínház is also found here, and Szent István Park always awaits everyone for a lovely picnic.
