Széll Kálmán tér

Széll Kálmán tér, formerly known as Moszkva tér or Moscow Square between 1951 and 2011, is located on Margit körút, at the meeting point of Krisztina körút and Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor.

Being one of Budapest’s busiest traffic hubs on the Buda side, it is served by the tram line 4-6, the M2 metro and numerous other transportation lines. Buses from the square head for the popular hiking destinations of the Buda hills, but Budakeszi Wildlife Park and Budai Gesztenyés Restaurant can also be reached from here. You can find burger, pizza and brunch places close by, and as for nightlife, there is Nemdebár Pub. The organic goods of Fény Street Market are also within the immediate vicinity.
