Pierrot Cafe Restaurant
A small, romantic spot in the historic setting of the Castle District, the Pierrot Café Restaurant is a few metres from Hilton Buda hotel, Matthias Church and the Fishermen’s Bastion. Stepping in this restaurant run by the Zsidai family, a friendly, homely yet elegant interior welcomes you, enhanced with matching furniture and artworks depicting Pierrot the clown. The brief menu is full of seasonal, colourful and aromatic courses. All ingredients here are high-quality, and they often experiment with them; reinventing a classic course (for instance traditional Hungarian cabbage noodles served in a cylinder-shaped dough, flavoured with wine from Tokaj), or playing with textures and colours. Pierrot Café Restaurant also has decent wines from around Europe. Its garden is a perfect place for dinner on a warm summer evening.
