Paris Department Store
The department store (Párisi Nagy Áruház), built at the beginning of the 20th century, was counted among the most modern, late Art-Nouveau constructions back in the day, and has remained a beautiful and unique sight in classy Andrássy Avenue. It functioned as a casino, a shopping mall, and then a bookstore until 2017. It always offered a breathtakingly beautiful, lavish atmosphere with its spectacular interior and the gorgeous murals of renowned Hungarian painter, Károly Lotz. From 2018 Andrássy Élményközpont operates in the building, showcasing interactive scientific exhibitions and events, and 360 Bar offers an amazing panorama and tasty drinks on its rooftop.
