This restaurant is a pleasant surprise in a quiet part of District VII. Here, the emphasis is on Slow Food and the chefs can often be found chatting with regulars. At Olimpia, they gather the fresh, seasonal ingredients each morning from local producers and based on those, the chefs come up with a creative, two-to-seven course menu. Instead of a conventional à la carte selection, they write up the day’s ingredients on a board, leaving room for the imagination. According to a recent Michelin Guide, Olimpia is among the ten best restaurants in Budapest.
