Holló és Róka
The ultimate favourite of melted cheese fans, raclette, is now brought to Budapest. Holló és Róka is the collaboration of Soul Food’s chef, Attila Greilich, who introduced Budapest to Cajun and creole cuisine, and former Szomszéd bar’s owner, Győző Nagy. The place has a lot more to offer, though, than variations of melted cheese – it attracts guests with cheese platters, diverse barbecue dishes or lamb meatloaf, with a lunch menu on weekdays. An extensive wine list and rum, whisky and beer varieties complete the drink selection. The design is playful and unique with artist Angela Nyiri Cilu’s (Nuanz) paintings on the walls, evoking the famous fable, The Crow and The Fox by French writer, Jean de La Fontaine – which is also the name of this friendly and stylish restaurant.
