Holló és Róka

The ultimate favourite of cheese aficionados, raclette, is now brought to Budapest. Holló és Róka is a collaboration between the chef of Soul Food, Attila Greilich, who introduced Budapest to Cajun and creole cuisine, and the former owner of the Szomszéd bar, Győző Nagy. The place has a lot more to offer, though, than variations of melted cheese – it offers cheese platters, diverse barbecue dishes and lamb meatloaf, with a lunch menu on weekdays. An extensive wine list and rum, whisky and beer varieties complete the drink selection. The design is playful and unique, paintings by artist Angela Nyiri Cilu of Nuanz evoking the famous La Fontaine fable, The Crow and The Fox, also the name of this friendly and stylish restaurant.
