The menu has been unchanged for decades at Fülemüle: here you can enjoy traditional Central European flavours, cooked according to the tried and tested recipes of Jewish grandmothers, from the most reliable ingredients. The restaurant specialises in goose dishes and cholent variations, but their desserts are also worth mentioning – matzah balls in walnut and chocolate syrup, and apple-walnut-poppy seed dumplings are their specialities. Their wines are also excellent and the staff are helpful and attentive. The interior elicits the atmosphere of authentic, old-school eateries with brown floor tiles, vintage lamps and floral cushions.
