Flow Speciality Coffee Bar & Bistro
With the rise of specialty cafés, you’d think that you can have a quality espresso anywhere in Budapest by now. But Andrássy út, and especially the part closer to Hősök tere, had been an exception until this summer. This is when Flow opened its gates at Andrássy 66, defining itself as a bistro and speciality café and excelling in both genres. They only buy coffee from roasters who don’t suppress the beans’ fruity character – and they always try to have at least one premium option on the menu, such as Panama Geisha. Their all-vegan food, prepared by skilled chef György Lipták, is hearty and rich in flavour. The minty couscous prepared with capers and salty lemon, and the red lentil patty with dill cucumber salad, are both musts.
