The
Modern Art Orchestra pay homage to
saxophone legend Joe Henderson, who passed away 20 years ago. This
unique concert featuring four outstanding soloists – Bob Mintzer, Tony
Lakatos, Rick Margitza and Gábor Bolla – will be broadcasted for free by
the Budapest Music Center, focusing on the orchestral pieces of the
American saxophonist and composer. The bulk of the repertoire is centred on
Henderson’s album Big Band.
A true cult band will rock the Dürer Kert stage on 21 April: Canadian band Godspeed You! Black Emperor is one of the most important post-rock and experimental bands in the world.
Baxter Dury will perform in Hungary for the first time at the House of Music Hungary on 20 April.
