Placcc returns this September with a smaller edition of their traditional, annual festival. Though their usual city walks, pop-up exhibitions, fine arts and dance productions are varied in the themes and questions they raise, questions relevant regardless of the pandemic, the impact of the Covid-19 situation will still be felt on the various attractions this year. Invited artists will pose questions such as: what role, if any, did the climate catastrophe play in the emergence of the pandemic? What effect did the pandemic have on the – not overly positive – way people perceive artistic creation as work?

As usual, the events of the festival take place in unusual locations, such as on the streets of Budapest, in empty downtown stores, as well as at indoor wall climbing halls. Most elements of the agenda are free to attend this year, too.
