Péter Egyedi has been leading the Hungarian indie pop and alternative rock band Óriás for ten years, and he’s also an active member of the current underground movement. Mmamt had started out as a solo project, but grew into an exciting, big-band musical adventure that has a sense of complete freedom yet remains well-defined: a unique, intimate and sophisticated world full of internal tension, completely unlike any of his previous work. A debut album was released in 2019, with several portals ranking it among the best Hungarian releases that year. The second Mmamt album will be launched in autumn 2020.
