Orientale Lumen – Light of the East

As a truly special celebration of
Pentecoste
, amid a majestic atmosphere, the fifth season of
Orientale Lumen
will be concluded with a concert of Lebanese singer
Abeer Nehme
, and the
Saint Ephraim Male Choir
at the
Basilica 
–
joined by
Balázs Szokolay Dongó
on various wind instruments. The program will feature music from
ancient Christian times
and from various cultures: Aramaic, Georgian, Coptic, Armenian, Slavic, Syriac, Byzantine and Cretan music, all performed at the concert. According to "tradition", the audience will also have the opportunity to sing along at the concerts.
