20,000 Days on Earth blends fiction and reality, Nick Cave's imaginary and real life, featuring the members of his band, singer Kylie Minogue and actor Ray Winstone. The film was shot when the band were making their album, Push The Sky Away, and presents a behind-the-scenes look into the artistic process, and also features footage from concerts and the recording of the album. 20,000 Days on Earth premiered at Sundance and won awards for best documentary and editing.
