LOVE. A very close, personal feeling that belongs to everyone. Dóra Hegedűs, designer of DÜSK Budapest, together with photographer Wanda Martin, talk about the diversity of love through exciting couples and transform a photo exhibition into an adventure, putting diversity at the centre. In addition to classic model photos, the designer-photographer pair have dreamed up a completely unique world, where they photographed nine couples known in alternative circles and breaking out from their own territory, mixing the worlds of documentary filmmakers and fashion photographers. The unifying force of the LOVE photo series is the diversity of love and affection itself. With this in mind, friends, couples in love, brothers and sisters, are featured in the images, but a father-daughter pair also appear in the photographs. In the series, 30Y siblings Zoli Beck and Zaza Beck, actors Zsolt László and daughter, Ian O'Sullivan and Annamari Kaptay, among others, show the many sides of love.
In addition to drinks by Hendrick’s Gin and Reketye Brewing at the opening, Ian O’Sullivan’s acoustic mini-apartment concert will provide the atmosphere for a house party. The sponsor of the evening is Pálvölgyi Digital Budapest, thanks to whom you can also record the events as Polaroid images. The pop-up store of the DÜSK fashion brand will also operate at the event, where pieces from the Lovers on the Run collection will be available for the first time this year.
