The
Várfok Gallery
proposes to conclude this year with an important and significant retrospective exhibition of the work of
László Mulasics
. At the same time may be seen as anticipating next year’s outstanding planned programme to mark the occasion of the 25th birthday of the Várfok Gallery.
László Mulasics (1954-2001), a prominent figure of the Hungarian art scene of the 1980s and 1990s, would be 60 years old this year.
The exhibition opening in the Várfok Gallery and Várfok
Project Room
can be considered as the first retrospective exhibition of László Mulasics. It aims to encompass the whole of this uniquely rich œuvre from the early study years until the last artworks. The exhibition concentrates on those major works and emblematic art pieces which have not been exhibited in recent years or, indeed, have never before been shown.
