A real and touching tale of present-day problems tells the story of one of the biggest custody battles of film history, waged between Ted (Dustin Hoffman) and Joanna (
Meryl Streep
) over their young son Billy. On the same day when workaholic Ted lands a big job that could boost his career, Joanna decides to leave him. Forced to raise Billy alone, Ted loses his job, but soon finds a way to form a real father-son relationship with Billy, one that he had not been capable of before. However, Joanna returns and claims custody of Billy, starting a legal battle that takes a toll on everyone involved. The film screens with original English audio and Hungarian subtitles on May 14th at the Bem Cinema.
