Judy shows the last months in the life of American singer and actress Judy Garland. The film stars Renée Zellweger as Garland, with Jessie Buckley, Finn Wittrock, Rufus Sewell, and Michael Gambon in supporting roles. Known from a young age for her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Garland went through multiple unhappy marriages, struggling with serious financial and addiction problems. The film follows her career during the last year of her life, when she relocated her stage career to Britain. After finding initial success with a run of sell-out concerts in London, her efforts flounder and worsen due to health issues, her fight with herself, the audience and her management.
