Intimate Stranger will play songs from their five LPs on July 14th, Saturday at Robot, a stop on their 2018 tour. The English-Chilean band’s prime influencers are postpunk bands such as The Cure or Siouxsie & the Banshees, delicately mixed with the dreampop scene’s Cocteau Twins’ and Slowdive’s sombre mood. Spice this with the indie rock of the 2000’s, and you get Intimate Stranger.
