This free Budapest festival and intellectual forum presents books by authors from all around the world, and is complete with colourful attractions such as book-signing sessionscultural events, launches, round-table talks, concerts and more, organised between 23-26 April. This year’s guest of honour is Belarusian Nobel Laureate Svetlana Alexievich, whose writings inspired the hit series Chernobyl.The award ceremony of the Budapest Grand Prize and an on-stage conversation with the prize-winner will be special events. Visitors are accommodated at the Millenáris Park, with a smart exhibition area and excellent accessibility. Similar to previous years, the festival also showcases the culture, literature and reading habits of a selected nation, this time with Spain in the spotlight.
