Good Will Hunting is a 1997 Oscar-winning drama directed by Gus Van Sant, starring Robin Williams, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Written by boyhood friends Affleck and Damon, the film follows a young Boston janitor Will Hunting, an unrecognised genius who, as part of a plea-deal in court, undergoes therapy and studies advanced mathematics with a renowned professor, memorably played by Robin Williams. In their sessions, each re-evaluates their relationships, confronts their past and considers their future.
