On 4 February, the Örkény Theatre is staging an English-speaking performance about the harrowing trauma of the Holocaust, whose annual international memorial falls a few days before. In Ghetto Sheriff, the actors recite Jewish jokes, songs, reminisces and documents from the 1930s and 1940s. The play lasts 80 minutes and is performed in total darkness, with no mobile phones or smart watches allowed. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available here.
