A critically acclaimed documentary, Finding Vivian Maier, is being screened at the Bem cinema on 20 March. The late Vivian Maier was a nanny whose previously unknown collection of 100,000 photographs earned her a posthumous reputation as one of the best street photographers. This documentary was directed by art historian John Maloof, the same man who discovered Maier by accident when buying her photographs at a flea market auction while undertaking unrelated architectural research.
