From 17 to 20 August, the spotlight once again falls on traditional crafts, artisans, and creative communities as the Festival of Folk Arts returns to the Buda Castle. This year, you can meet nearly a thousand master craftsmen, international creators, and applied artists, watch live workshops, and take part in hands-on craft activities. The programme also features stage performances, fashion shows, and for the little ones, folk playhouses, children’s concerts, storytelling, and dance lessons. The 2025 theme focuses on traditional clothing and folk jewellery – and the best part is, entry is free.
