On the anniversary of the first urban dance house in Hungary, this folk-revival movement is celebrated across Hungary. This year, the Franz Liszt Music Academy provides a live streaming, jointly organised with the House of Tradition. Among the performers, the Békés Band were formed more than 40 years ago, their repertoire featuring folk music around the Carpathian Basin. Prize--winning Dániel Lipták is lead violinist. The Berka ensemble then play traditional Csangó folk music, with Moldavian dance melodies. Third up, Erdőfű, select from pieces by György Martin in Kalotaszeg, providing a flavour of their new album.
