Bollywood? The word is a coinage created by mashing the names of the

Bombay
(the former name of Mumbai) and Hollywood. Around 150 Bollywood movies are made every year, and music and dancing play a central role in almost all of them. A tried and tested way of promoting these films is through leaking music clips, so that the audience knows all songs by heart even before they set foot in the cinema.

Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) is an up-and-coming entrepreneur about to tie the knot with his actress girlfriend Karishma (Adah Sharma). However, the girl sets the condition that he should make something of himself before the wedding. Nikhil meets Karishma’s sister Meeta (Parineeti Chopra), a genius girl who can sometimes be a bit crazy, returning after running off 7 years ago. Nikhil has a week to figure out his complicated feelings, strike the deal of his life, get hitched, and keep the slightly odd Meeta away from her family, at least until the wedding.
