András Őrsi, aka Böki, is a graffiti artist from Eger. At 12, he tagged around his home town, coming into contact with hip-hop and break-dancing crews. Over the course of ten years, he performed at many domestic and international art festivals and cultural events, but today he works as a photographer and DJ. The characteristic feature of Böki's work lies in the use of chrome and black: the moderate use of colour in his street graffiti provides the framework. Rollin On Chrome is made up of such recent images. The letters are depicted on the canvases, leaning towards abstract motifs and visually harmonising with them, and the expressive way of writing the characters makes the viewer engage in intense associations.
