Bikeology
, the temporary exhibition of the
Museum of Applied Arts,
showcases a variety of innovative
bicycle designs
,
accessories
, and cycling-related design products, such as a women’s coat enhanced with led lights, or
night biking gloves
. There are also decor items –
clocks
, lamps, mirrors – made of bike components.
The exhibition is divided into three distinct parts;
Chain Links
,
Tandem
, and
Critical Mass
. We find truly innovative ideas in each sections; we can learn about how abandoned bikes in Amsterdam can be “
adopted
”, or how we can make money by
lending our bikes to others
. Regardless of whether you are a biker or not, we highly recommend this exhibition to everyone.
