During May 19-21,
Bálna Budapest
once again hosts a hop-scented gathering that brings
45 Belgian breweries
 together to present
more than 250 types of intoxicating suds
. Among the fine selection, 65 different beers will be available on tap in Bálna's grand hall and across its terrace, found adjacent to the city's recently renovated
Nehru Shore
. A color palette depicting various flavors guides guests into the world of beers at the festival, but those who are eager to learn about the available suds can also check the vast selection on the event's official
website
(in Hungarian). We highly recommend to try the raspberry-flavored
Framboise Boon
, the smoked-tea-scented
Prearis Smokey Li
, and the honey-enhanced
 Lefebvre Barbár
. Upon entering the event's grounds, guests get tokens with their entry tickets that they can exchange for glasses of palatable potables, but these can also be bought later on within the festival's premises (650 HUF/token).
