This year, the
Judafest Street Festival
will last for three days, revealing the hidden face of
Kazinczy Street
and its surroundings. The guest of honour of the festival, promoting openness and diversity, is Europe this year.
On Friday and Saturday, those interested can peek into the heritage and everyday life of the historic
Jewish quarter
through popular city walks and real Jewish liturgies held in the
Dohány Street Synagogue
. On Sunday,
Kazinczy Street
will undergo an exciting transformation with concerts, fairs, tastings, children’s programs and stalls of non-governmental organizations spread throughout the street. In the ‘Ask the rabbi!’ tent, for example, we can seek lifestyle advice from real and alternative rabbis.
