You can learn how it became naturalized in Japan, how it adapted to the nature, climate and lifestyle of each region, how its culture has flourished to the present day, and what challenges and opportunities lie in it for the future. There is also a section at the exhibition where you can experience what it's like to walk into a sushi restaurant in Tokyo.

Mezerg (FR)

The one-man band of the crazy Frenchman Mezerg is an original, entertaining, and incredible production. His electronically based music ranges from simple pop to experimental, although if you think about it, his whole oeuvre is one giant experiment. He can turn anything, any object, into an instrument and make it sound, which is why his work is so exciting, apart from the fact that, although we've seen it before, every concert is like the first we've ever seen. So even though he's been here before, it's still worth attending his spring concert in Budapest.

Decolonize Your Mind Society concert

The Decolonize Your Mind Society, a Hungarian band formed in 2018, has gained much attention and recognition not just in Hungary but around the world with its first album in 2020 (A Courteous Invitation To An Uninhabited Anabatic Prism). They draw inspiration from the music of non-European cultures, untempered tunings, American minimalism and psychedelic, ritualistic music. Now they are releasing their second album, which you can hear live among the first ones at the House of Music on March 11th.
