Between Monday, 29 August and Sunday, 4 September, the Museum of Fine Arts is hosting Budapest Central European Fashion Week. As well as being the tenth anniversary edition, this year’s event is particularly special as it’s being run in co-operation with Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) is again giving domestic and regional creators the opportunity to present their collections before the international fashion weeks, welcoming professionals from several countries in the region.

Budapest Central European Fashion Week ends with two-day catwalk shows, during which you’ll be able to see works by 15 Hungarian and two Polish designers, while seven Ukrainian brands will be playing a prominent role. In addition, you can view products by seven exhibitors at the museum itself.

Alongside, nearly 30 side events will be taking place around Budapest, fashion-focused discussions and workshops. Events can be followed through BCEFW's Facebook page and TikTok channel.
