Since the summer of 2021, Gigi’s Budapest has been welcomed into the fold of the city’s bars and music venues. Over the course of a year, they have seen many busy wedding parties, romantic dinners and dramatic sunsets, but they’re still perfectly happy if large groups of friends smoke a hookah pipe on their lively terrace.

By 2022, our entertainment, eating and partying habits have already changed in such a way that we prefer not to spend the evening wandering around but rather enjoy everything in one place. A relaxed dinner, warm-up drinks, music and dancing, too.

A year to the good, Gigi’s Budapest is exactly the kind of place where everything comes together for a good evening. As a couple, with a best friend or with a larger group.

The panorama is unbeatable. The towering cityscape on the Buda side, the Danube and the Chain Bridge spread out before Gigi’s, located at the bottom of the Sofitel Budapest, allowing you to observe how a busy capital can transform itself into an intimate evening. The lights come on, refracted by the palm trees on the terrace.

Starting up every afternoon, a different DJ selects the tunes for sunsetR&B, hip hop, house, deep house and tropical house rhythms give summer evenings at Gigi’s a real pulse.

At this year’s DiningCity National Restaurant Week, Gigi’s won the title of Best New Restaurant because, in addition to cool cocktails, they also put the focus on the food selection. Here, they serve bistro cuisine with evergreen classics and a handful of specialities, and they also show off their skills on the sushi front as this Japanese favourite is also available at Gigi’s Budapest.
