Starting today, 1 July, and running for two months, nearly 350 live music performances will be taking place at 12 beautiful locations around the city. Launched in 2015, the concert series Zenélő Budapest has been a popular attraction in summer, this year staging interactive events for music lovers of all ages to play communal instruments. Children’s concerts, classical, folk and jazz all feature, at venues such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum, the Musical Fountain on Margaret Island and the square in front of the Basilica. And it’s all free!

Zenélő Budapest's mini-concerts will be 20 minutes long and performed several times. Among other things, you can hear pieces of Hungarian romantic opera, and there will be a Rococo female string quartet, a saxophone ensemble, bell play, classical favourites with a jazz twist, a brass ensemble in Hussar uniforms, a Transylvanian folk music ensemble and a total art performance

Further details can be found on Zenélő Budapest's website and Facebook page.
