With Budapest opening up, the Palace Quarter around the National Museum is celebrating the fact with an all-day street party on Saturday, 19 June. All you have to do is register!

Next Saturday, 19 June, a one-day festival takes place from Gutenberg tér to Pollack Mihály tér by the National Museum. This is the Palace Quarter, where noblemen had their pied-à-terre in town, an elegant home from home in Budapest away from the family estate in the countryside.

Children’s activities begin at 10am, with the main event starting up at 3pm and running until 9pm. Although the schedule isn’t yet complete, you can expect horse-drawn carriage rides, a parade by the Pomáz Fire Brigade, DJ Panda’s music workshop for kids, a concert by NEMADOMFEL, a dragon-making workshop, a dance show, early evening concerts and Pop Up Pest, an urban development game. Everything’s free – you just need to register here, pressing the green button and signing up your name.
