In the wake of his $7 million show at Super Bowl 2021, Canadian singer The Weeknd has just announced a huge world tour for 2022, including a date at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on 4 November. Tickets are now on sale.

One of the biggest stars in R&B, The Weeknd, is coming to Budapest as part of a massive world tour of sports arenas throughout 2022. Starting in his native Canada, the award-winning singer will cover North America before coming to Europe in September. The Budapest date is only one of three in the region, with concerts in Prague and Kraków that same week.

Originally planned to promote his fourth studio album After Hours, a No.1 hit in more than 20 countries, the tour was postponed from 2020 to 2021, and has now been rescheduled for 2022.

On Spotify, After Hours became the second most listened-to album of 2020. The most-streamed track of the year was Blinding Lights, which climaxed The Weeknd’s recent groundbreaking Halftime Show at Super Bowl LV.

Tickets for the Budapest concert are available from Live Nation. A limited number of VIP packages will also be available. See tour details here.
