The ever-changing Corvin Quarter, Budapest's most rapidly modernising neighbourhood, is soon to witness another gleaming development. The Corvin Innovation Campus will see a new, modern office building tower over the intersection of Szigony utca and Tömő utca, to be completed by 2022.

The area around the Corvin Quarter has undergone a huge change in the last decade, with high-tech office buildings, residential parks, plazas and restaurants replacing old houses. At the end of the promenade, next to the Corvin Technology & Science Park, the construction of the Corvin Innovation Complex is now underway. All is expected to be completed by the autumn of 2022.

The design of the modern, next-generation office building has been affected by the epidemic situation. Almost all the common areas will feature contactless design elements, such as automatic doors and light switches with card sensors, as part of the Stay Safe Initiative. Safe distance signs will be posted, lifts will operate through a phone app and washbasins will be equipped with non-contact soap and rinsing.

The nine-storey block, containing a total of 30,000 square metres of office space, will be built on the plot bordered by Szigony, Tömő, Apáthy István and Balassa utca. It will be built in several stages, in accordance with BREEAM Excellent sustainability requirements and WELL Platinum certification.

The area is served by Semmelweis Klinikák metro station, while cyclists will find ample bike storage. The large inner courtyard will function as a spacious green area as planned.
