A three-hectare space of beautiful greenery ideal for relaxation, fun or even work, Budapest’s largest roof garden offers an exciting new concept for communal activities beneath open skies!

The Westend Roof Garden is a place where sports enthusiasts and those who just like relaxing on beanbags can share summer fun. On the green roof terrace, you can get in shape with a free daily workout led by renowned instructors, cosy up in the lounge with comfortable pallet furniture or lie down on one of the chequered blankets on the grass, with a picnic basket full of delicacies at your elbow.

Community space, events and gastronomy

“We wanted to come up with solutions that would bring people back together in safe and comfortable conditions. Simultaneously with the activation of the terrace, we are creating a community space, an opportunity to stage events and expand our range of gastronomic possibilities,” says Orsolya Kovács, Westend Marketing Director.

Budapest’s largest roof garden has already hosted a number of popular events and, although the series of activities based around this summer’s Euro 2020 football tournament has had to be postponed, they have come up with great leisure alternatives. The grassy area of the lower terrace has been turned into a cosy lounge area: one with a classic picnic-blanket area, the other with a sun-lined lounge with pallet furniture, bean bags and a bar with renowned DJs spinning from Fridays through Sundays.

Westend is also keen on more active recreation, with the participation of renowned trainers such as Réka Rubint, Alexandra Béres and Attila Katus. Sports activities are free, all you need do is activate the coupon available on the Rewards menu of the Westend app

The Westend Roof Garden awaits guests until 15 August, and you can find all current events on its Facebook page
