The song, which is sung in Catalan and subtitled in English and Spanish, references the iconic yellow trams, Margaret Bridge, Deák Ferenc tér and other landmarks of the city.
MONTAÑEZ is the musical project of singer-songwriter Jordi Montañez and three other musicians who are part of the band. Jordi has four published albums, and has performed twice here in Budapest! Budapest symbolises "passion, but also reflection on the passage of time," explain the group.
"Cities are the scene where life and death, love and passion, majesty and decay occur. MONTAÑEZ invites us to travel with him in a constant search for the most essential: beauty."
The song is part of the latest album – Minsk · Praga · Budapest – which will be presented in Barcelona on 7 March. Through the trilogy, we move through three perspectives on love: Minsk is nostalgia, Prague is complexity and Budapest is passion.
